Linda Y. Gonzalez is the newest addition to the Goldberg Law Group. Linda received her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2013 while continuing her successful career with the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). In 2017 she left DCP&P to accept a position with the Passaic County Surrogate’s Office where she would be able to better apply her paralegal education. While at the Passaic County Surrogate’s Office, she served the community of Passaic County as a Probate Court Clerk specializing in Guardianships for Incapacitated Adults. In her role as a Probate Court Clerk, she worked closely with the now retired Hon. Randal C. Chiocca, presiding judge of the Chancery Division – Probate Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey. She handled all aspects of the Guardianship Applications from complaint to the qualification of guardians. Linda’s role also included overseeing the Guardianship Monitoring Program implement by the Superior Court of New Jersey, designed to protect the most venerable members of our community. While Linda derived considerable enjoyment and satisfaction during her time overseeing Guardianships in Passaic County, she is very excited to use her knowledge and skills to expand to other areas of elder law with our firm. In her spare time, Linda loves spending time with her adult daughter Cassidy and teenage son Dylan, traveling to Italy often with her best friend/significant other Frank and indulging in great food when out with her closest friends.
